If you've never heard Biffy Clyro before what have you been doing with yourself hiding across the sea and not venturing to listen to independant british labels artists, oh well that explains it then. hailing from Bonnie Scotland (as do I) they are truly an excellent band and have shown growth in sound and musical ability on each of their three albums, however i still hold their first album Blackened Sky closest to my heart, so it makes sense to start in chronological order and post it first (the other two will follow shortly). Biffy have a sound which you cannot put into words i could start writing shit about alternate haunting soft-loud vocal and guitar switches and three way harmonies but just give them a listen i promise you will not be dissapointed. Album highlights include the ever live present "57", fans favourite "27" and the excellent "Justboy", however the whole album provides delights for the ear throughout, with slower more melodic songs such as "Christopher's River" and "Scary Mary" growing on you and getting stuck in your head for days. hope you enjoy i'll add "The Vertigo of Bliss" and "Infinity Land" as soon as possible.
